Congratulations to Mister Tarik Mamoun from the beautiful country of Morocco, the new owner of our lovely SISZI (Emfatyk x Splendida). SISZI has left our autumnal weather for the sweeter temperatures of Morocco. Curiously, she will be one of the very few pure polish mares in this big breeding country. We wish them a bright future...

NERISSA IS BACK

This weekend, NERISSA has come back at home for her one year leasing. Bred to Polish National Champion FERRYT, she gave birth to a lovely, well build and athletic dark bay colt.

BEAUTY AND PERFORMANCE

We are very happy with the good news received from homebred GANDY, the son of World Champion EKSTERN out of our late Belgian National Champion GWANA,and thus the full brother to our GWANDOLYN. Since several years, GANDY is owned by Mister RICHELLE who decided to train him to become an endurance race champion. And that's working!!! 12 races, 12 finishes. GANDY is now CEI** qualified on 130km races.
For all breeders who looks for beauty, athletic abilities, pedigree and great mind, GANDY stands at stud and is already the sire of three foals.

END OF THE BREEDING SEASON

For next year, we wait for three foals by North American Champion DA VINCI FM. We eagerly wait to see the result of his cross with wome of our best producing broodmares : PERSENKOWKA, SPLENDIDA and WILGA.

SWEDISH NATIONALS

Congratulations to the Silver and Bronze Swedish National champion mares, namely NIFKA, half sister to our NECESSA and late NAUTICIA, and SORELLA, the full sister to our SPLENDIDA. For more, SORELLA is the mother of the Swedish Junior Gold Champion Colt and Best in Show SHARAHM. Congratulations to breeders and owners title.

ZOTTEGEM ARABIAN CUP

Last weekend we attended the Zottegem Arabian Cup last weekend, with two horses. We entered NEBRASKA, very freightened due to her unexperience of the show arenas and SUZANNA. We got unexpectedly great results as both of them won their class. SUZANNA was also awarded the Silver Champion Mare title.

42nd ANNUAL JANOW PODLASKI SALE

On Sunday late afternon was held the traditional auction. Following the less successful 2010 sale, in a still depressed international market, everybody was eager to know which results will this edition have. The start of the auction let fear for a similar scenario as last year. Among the 5 first lots, two didn't receive sufficient offers and went back to their stable unsold, the three others being adjudjed for a price below 30.000€. The atmosphere was heavy when the announced star of the auction, the etheral PIACENZA, the recent Bialka Spring Show Gold champion filly, was brought in the arena. And then, everybody went enthustiastic. the bids went up and up, the trainers and agents were clamped on their mobile phone, going in turn out of the jubilant hall to receive the orders of their client. When the forelast bidder put her phone down, PIACENZA was adludjed to Al Mohamedia Stud of Saoudi Arabia for 475.000€. From then on, the sale was relaunched on new basis, and the greatest part of the offered horses were subject to fierce battles between bidders resulting in high final sale prices. In that way, FABRYSZKA was sold for 150.000€, PALABRA for 400.000€, ANDALUSZJA, the best daughter of our lovely ANTWERPIA and the catalog covergirl for 100.000€ to Athbah Stud, PANIKA for 125.000€. All these mares, like PIACENZA, became the property of new proud owners from Saoudi Arabia. Among the others, SARBIA will go to Enlgand at Halsdon Arabians for 85.000€. Several lots were bought by an Australian buyer, among which CAMILIA for 60.000€ and KASHIRA for 57.000€. 24 from the 31 horses offered in the Auction were sold for an average price of nearly 76.800€. Is the crisis over then? Or is it once more the Janów magic that produced these exceptionnal results ?

33rd POLISH NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

We just arrive from Poland where we attended the National Championships. As the sun was generous, all the classes were judged on the outside grass ring, what allows the spectators to fully appreciate the wonderfull mouvements of the horses. On Friday, the first class for one year old colts was won by the good mover EQUATOR by QR MARC, and the second class by the very refined PERON, who prove the success of mating ESPARTO with the Bialka broodmares. The 2 year old class was easily won by last year Reserve National Junior Champion POGROM, who has very well evolved. The first day of the Nationals ended by the 3 years old colts class in which, following the tradition, the State states don't enter their horses. The class ribbon was awarded to the chestnut ETERNAL by FS BENGALI.
All the other classes were judged on saturday. The first class of yearling fillies, was won by ECHO AURORA, one of the very few of the only polish daughter of World Champion ETERNITY IBN NAVARONNE. The second class was won by the etheral WIEZA MOCY by QR MARC, who combines type, conformation with wonderful mouvements rewarded by 3 maximal notes of 20. Among the two years old fillies, the tall WARANGA, won thanks to better mouvements. WARANGA is the last daughter our WILGA left in Poland. Being by QR MARC, she's thus the 2 years older full sister to our lovely WIKTORIA. The 3 years old fillies class saw the victory of the gigantic PUSTYNNA MALWA by EKSTERN.
In the class for younger senior mares aged 4 to à 6, extraordinarily, all three daughters of the same dam, thus aged 4, 5 and 6 were entered. Their proud dam, ALTONA, from Janów Podlaski, is one of the very last daughters of legendary sire EUKALIPTUS. And seing the results, we can only admire the quality of her production as the class was won by ALABAMA by GAZAL AL SHAQAB, followed by the eldest one ALTAMIRA by EKSTERN, with the younger ATMA also by EKSTERN being also ranked in the Top 5. In the 7 to 10y old mares, the first five places were awarded to GAZAL AL SHAQAB daughters, with the ultraexotic EJRENE from Michalów on the top. The last class of mares was like last year, won by World Champion EMMONA who received once again, the highest score of the show, 94 points, and 5 times the maximal note of 20.
Then it was the stallions' turn. Among the youngers (4 to 6y-old), KABSZTAD, the henceforth rekowned son of the legendary double world champion KWESTURA. The very last class of the show was won by EQUIFOR, the arguably loveliest Polish son of GAZAL AL SHAQAB.
The championships were judged on Sunday morning. The gold medal for the junior females was awarded to wonderful WIEZA MOCY from Michalów, silver medal to ECHO AURORA from Chrcynno Palace, and bronze medal to DAMA PIK from Michalów. Among the colts, POGROM improve his last year result and won the gold medal for Janów, leaving silver medal to refined PERON from Bialka and the bronze one to EQUATOR from Michalów. In the senior female section, EMMONA finally went back home with the supreme title, besting her stablemate EJRENE and Janów's ALABAMA. Without surprise, EMMONA was also elected the Best in Show.

POLISH DAMLINE PRESENTATION

We have added the presentation page of the Polish damline of SEMRIE, Originating from the oldest European state stud of Babolna in Hungary, this damline has produced great race winners, numerous show champions and astonishing top selling individuals.

AND OUR LAST 2011 FOAL ...

Last night, GWANDOLYN gave birth to her first foal, and what a foal... She foaled a high quality little grey colt bearing lovely white glasses, one of the few sons of last year Triple Crown winner AJA JUSTIFIED.
GWANDOLYN already confirms her enormous breeding potential and takes perfectly over the duties of her recently deceased mother, the Belgian National Champion GWANA, with the same success.
We eagerly wait to see this little macho develop and hopefully confirm the great qualities he shows at first sight.
This little last foal of the season has been named GZAVI.

WARANGA WINS IN BIALKA

During the Polish Junior Spring Show in Bialka, WARANGA, the daughter of QR MARC and WILGA and thus the full sister to our WIKTORIA, won the first 2yrs old fillies class brillantly. She notably bested the Polish National Junior Gold and European Junior Silver Champion ZIGI ZANA, and the Polish National Silver Junior Champion PRIMERA.

21st Polish Arabian Junior Spring Show

Here are the results of the traditionnal Polish Spring Show which took place last weekend on the Bialka State stud grounds. The Best in Show trophy was given to PIACENZA which has freshly been added to the Pride of Poland Sale List. Note the good production results of the EKSTERN daughters which are the dams of 4 of the 10 Top 5 winners.

Congratulations to Mrs Goedert who is the new proud owner of our ultra-exotic PERLINA. This wonderful daughter of international champions VIVALDI RACH and PERSENKOWKA, proud representative of World reknowned and eagerly sought after Janów Podlaski 'P' line, will soon join the broodmare band in the new stud of Nadjaf Arabians.
We wish them a lot of success and very soon several beautifully exotic foals...

AND THE SECOND ONE ...

This afternoon, we were lucky to assist to the birth of SPLENDIDA's foal, which took place under a warm spring sun in the field.
This is her fourth filly, a wonderful daughter of International Sire of Champions WH JUSTICE. She inherited her lovely head from her sire and the long refined neck from her grandsire MAGNUM PSYCHE. But we will need to wait e little bit to assess if her dam gave her her flawless body, aristocratic elegance and dynamic mouvements. And if it happens to be the case, this little filly named SZAKIRA will be very very very special...

FIRST 2011 FOAL

It's only in the middle of the morning, after letting us wait for all the night, that WILGA gave birth to her 8th foal, the first born at our stud after seven born in her homestud of Michalów in Poland. This is the third of three full siblings by the World Reserve Champion QR MARC, after the lovely WARANGA, Top 3 in Janów and Bialka, and yearling WILGES. After a filly and a colt, she gave another ... filly. Yes, a tall light bay going to be grey filly, well set on long strong legs, and gifted a well set long neck and small typey head.
Hoping her name will be premonitory, we named her WIKTORIA.
